About this role
A Senior New Business Analyst provides support to Financial Services Representatives in analyzing, clarifying and submitting new client applications and transactions. A Senior New Business Analyst on the MMLIS (Investment) team is directly responsible for overseeing the processes to ensure protocol is being followed and all associates are being provided white glove service. The ultimate responsibility is to serve the Financial Service Representatives while prioritizing client interest, confidentiality, and compliance.
Requirements
Process new business applications in an organized and timely mannerÂ
Act as a leader for new staff
Periodically train Employees, Advisors and their staff on operation processes
Manage relationships with back-office parties to expedite processesÂ
Track new business through its life cycle and follow up on issues, concerns and delaysÂ
Leverage teammates in times of high case load or unforeseen circumstancesÂ
Use sound judgement to problem solve and escalate where needed
Design training programs and activities
Work collaboratively to assist leadership with capacity and workflow
Understand the bigger goals of Barnum and how to help the firm reach those goals
Qualifications
3+ years of Business Analyst/Operations Experience
FINRA licensing preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong leadership and high level of common sense
Easily adaptable to changes in processes and priorities
Strong multi-tasker with a high level of accountability
Customer-oriented and professional
Strong problem perception
Ability to use discretion and maintain client confidentiality
Bachelor’s Degree; Masters Preferred
